Early word on the new show originally said that the show would feature a female lead, but since the Deadline report says that the lead character will still be named Angus, that’s unlikely at this point.George Eads is set to play a man named Lincoln who, at first glance, seems like a bizarre conspiracy theorist, but who’s actually a real government worker with a deep capacity for compassion.I know that if improv some scenes, they’ll go for it, whereas last year I wasn’t so sure if I should think outside the box. There’s been times when I’ve been missing my daughter so bad that I’ll be in an emotional state, and Lucas will hold up production until we can talk it out and maybe even cry it out in the trailer.Creative lead Peter Lenkov has been an awesome guy to work for. I confide in him as a close friend, and I think he’s done the same for me. There’s an introduction of a new character this season, Isabel Lucas, who’s gonna be coming on who’s fantastic.I’ve gotten to know his mom and dad and his brothers. I love when you catch Mac and Jack in the first of an episode trying to get out of a tight spot from a mission and then going into another one. When you spend a lot of time working, you cross your fingers that you’re gonna like each other, and we’ve just been lucky when it comes to that. Instead of the show starting in the war room with a mission, we find Jack and Mac mid-acquisition or mid-mission, already in a pickle. I know a lot of shows take a while to pick up a little steam, but ours tend to make a splash right away. Hopefully that hour flies by and you go, “Wow, it’s already over.” That to me is a sign that you’ve got a great show. Many people who grew up watching the action adventure series Mac Gyver were very excited to learn that the series was coming back to TV in the form of a reboot to the popular series. Now, we have our first bit of casting info to report on that proposed new show.

But after the show’s successful first year, George is feeling more comfortable and adventurous.Eads is best known for his portrayal of Nick Stokes on the hit CBS crime procedural, a role he played from 2000 until early 2015. Eads also lent his voice to the role of The Flash in the animated series Young Justice from 2010 through 2012, and has done the same for several CSI video games. This casting is perfect for Eads, since the show will probably have heavy procedural notes in each episode, much like CSI did. This iteration of Mac Gyver will focus on a younger lead, who’s still in his twenties.

It seems like the new Mac Gyver is well on its way to having a knock-out cast in place for the pilot. The trained scientist and Vietnam veteran is capable of using his extensive knowledge of the physical sciences to solve intricate problems by crating objects out of everyday items and using his Swiss Army Knife, something he was able to achieve in mere minutes. His desire for non-violent solutions to the issues he comes across during his field work lead him to abstain from carrying a gun.You know, you just think about your three year old little and the drama seems to comes pretty easy. Lucas is a pretty good dude and he’s a funny and fun guy. We put a lot of pressure on ourselves not to repeat ourselves and make it as good as possible.
